Terms and Conditions of Warranty:
Underwritten by Eurowatches Limited –
A registered New Zealand company.
The warranty is valid for the period on One Year from date of purchase
and is non-transferable. Any alterations or modifications made to the
warranty certificate will render the warranty null and void.
We warrant that if your new watch described on the attached Certificate
of Limited Warranty proves, on presentation by you within one year of
the date of the original purchase, to be defective in material or
workmanship and provided the watch was purchased from Eurowatches Limited, we will, at our option, forward the watch to our appointed
service centre for regulation, adjustment, or repair or replace parts
or movement, without charge to you, subject to the following limits and
exclusions:
1. To obtain service during the warranty period, you must send your watch together with the attached warranty certificate of limited warranty (which must be properly filled in and indicate all the required information including date of purchase and name of buyer, and carry the Eurowatches Limited official stamp), to Eurowatches Limited. Warranty claims will not be accepted from outside of New Zealand. 2. This warranty does not cover the watch bracelet, strap, crystal, glass, battery, or any watch accessories, including, but not limited to, any charm, clasp, chain or belt attached to the watch. 3. This warranty does not apply to damage while in the possession of the consumer not resulting, in our sole opinion, from a defect in material or workmanship. 4. This warranty does not apply to damage caused, in our sole opinion, by tampering with or opening the watch by other than normal use or defects or damage resulting from repairs or battery changes performed by other than Eurowatches Limited or our appointed or recommended agents. 5. This warranty does not cover water damage unless your watch is designated as being water resistant to 50 meters depth or greater. Warranty also will not cover water damage if a battery has been replaced without subsequent water pressure testing. 6. This warranty does not cover scratches to the case or crystal caused by use. 7. Photocopies of certificates of limited warranty or certificates of limited warranty that have been altered or tampered with will not be honoured. 8. All postage, insurance and shipping costs incurred in presenting or sending the watch to us for service are your responsibility. 9. This warranty is non-transferable. 10. In the rare event that a warranty claim is made, Eurowatches Limited will pay for all service costs directly attributable to the repair of the watch, however if economical repair cannot be achieved Eurowatches Limited reserves the right to provide a refund of the original purchase price. The definition of ‘economical repair’ is at the sole discretion of Eurowatches Limited. 11. The original purchase price is the price paid by the buyer not including any postage, handling costs or shipping. The original purchase price will be recorded on the certificate of limited warranty as a sale code.
